| The Society for Cable and Telecom Engineers was founded in 1945 in the United Kingdom. The association is a non-profit organization led by an executive committee. SCTE provides its members with training, accreditations, and certifications, and publishes the international magazine Broadband News. | Since 2003, there has been a committee in the Benelux region: SCTE Benelux. This committee focuses on the needs of SCTE members in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. The group organizes a biannual Tech Summit, an event dedicated to (technical) knowledge sharing and networking, often held at member locations. SCTE Benelux also hosts an annual dinner and lecture during the IBC event at RAI Amsterdam. |
